Product Review: 3D Fiber Lashes

So, I've had a few people ask me about these 3D Fiber Lashes and a couple people invite me to their online parties and I looked at all of the photos and watched the YouTube video and decided to give it a try.

I ordered through my friend Christi, she set up a Facebook page and was promoting the lashes and that's when I decided to try them out. I ordered online through a link she provided and the two-piece kit was $29 plus shipping. When I ordered, they sent an email saying the product was on back order and that it would be sent out in a couple weeks.

I waited patiently, and on the day they were supposed to arrive I received an email saying there was a glitch in their system and my shipment was sent to the wrong address. Also, the product was back ordered (again) and I would have to wait a few more weeks.

After all of this run around, coupled with a rude email response to a customer service inquiry that I made, put me off about this company and the product. I was ready to write off the whole experience and was really put off by the whole thing. I placed my order on February 28 and just received it today, March 24.

So, I was actually pleasantly surprised when it actually showed up today! The packaging is very nice, the two-piece kit comes in a cute little case, it looks like a glasses case. The instructions tell you to start with a coat of your own mascara, which I have been using Smashbox Full Exposure. Then you add a coat of the "Transplanting Gel" that looks like regular mascara, then a coat of the "Fiber Lashes" which is a little awkward to apply.

I was not expecting to be as pleased with the results as I am. But, the evidence is in the photos.

The product is not a substitute for a false lash strip. However, for an everyday glam look and just an awesome full, long lash it's pretty incredible! I'm going to continue using it and see how it incorporates into my day to day makeup routine.
